Richfield Township residents are supplied water and sewer services by Genesee County Water and Waste Division and are billed on a monthly (sewer and water or water only) or quarterly (sewer only) billing cycle. If you have questions about your bill, contact the Richfield Township.

Water / Sewer bills are sent out the 1st business day of the month and are due on the 16th of each month.
Billing is done on a monthly basis or quarterly basis. Bills can be paid in advance.

Residents must come into the Township Hall, show their drivers license, and have a pass filled out. The free dump pass is for Brent Run Landfill in MontroseaGenesee County Water & Waste reads meters and issues the bill statement. Postmarks are not accepted. If the 16th falls on a holiday or a day when our office is closed, payments are due on the next business day.
Currently cash, checks or money orders are acceptable forms of payment. Credit / Debit Card payments can be made online.
There is a DROP BOX located in front of the building for making payments any time day or night. NO CASH PLEASE!
Lawn Meters will be automatically turned on May 1 and turned off October 31 of each year.
The first billing statement will be July 1 and end December 1.
Please remember, if you do not plan to use your lawn meter, Richfield Township must be notified in writing by April 1 to avoid charges to the account.
