ATTENTION!!!

The Richfield Township Board meeting Monday, May 11th will be a tele-meeting as approved by Governor Whitmer's Executive Order 2020-15

Instuctions for the meeting are as follows:

  1. Call in number:  701-802-5321
  2. When prompted enter access code:  3175856 followed by (#)

Yard waste collection services will continue as normal on April 17th.


Richfield Township Offices continue to be Closed except for our Police Department and other essential operations. If you need an Officer you need to call 911.

You can call the Administration office at 810-653-3564. Our phones are being answered remotely. If the phone is not picked up, our staff person may be on the other line, please call back or feel free to leave a message. Messages will only be checked periodically as we maintain our stay-home stay-safe policy.

Water and Sewer payments can be placed in the drop box, mailed or paid online.

Burn permits, building permits and other information can be accessed from our website at Richfieldtwp.org. However, we will not be issuing any building permits or performing any inspections until further notice.

If you want a burn permit, one can be accessed on our website at: http://richfieldtwp.org/Portals/1094/docs/2020/burn%20permit.pdf and you can obtain permission for a burn permit by doing one of the following:

  1. Print the permit from our website, fill it out and email it back to us using the general office email listed above.
  2. View the permit on our website, read the rules, send us an email to the general office email, or leave a voice message on our office line. Please include in any email or voice message the following: your name, address, and contact info and that you understand that you will be required to file a hard copy of a burn permit at the Township once our office is back open to the public.

There are no changes in Garbage and recycling operations at this time.

Yard waste collection services will continue as normal on April 17th.

Veterans Exemptions must annually file the Affidavit with the supervisor or assessing office anytime after December 31st and before the March, July and December Board of Review Meetings.
